Ernest Leb

was born in Satu-Mare, Romania. I graduated the Music Academy “George Enescu” in Romania.I studied composition and conducting with maestros Akim Stoia and Ion Baciu. In Israel I continued my conducting studies with maestro Shalon Ronly Riklis. During my activity years I set up four chamber orchestras – two of them in Romania and the other two in Israel. I activated as a composer in the Movie Studios in Jerusalem. My compositions were performed in festivals, were recorded for radio and CD. I was the music director of the Romanian and Hungarian theatres in Israel. , conducted several chamber and symphonic orchestras in Israel and Europe. I participated as conductor of Israelian orchestras in concert tours in Europe and Central America. Between 1990-1997 I was the conductor and music director of T.A New Chamber Orchestra. Many of my concerts were broadcasted in TV programs in Europe. Musical education is an important element in his activity.My philosophical conception is that an artist has to transmit part of his personality to the generations to come. I promoted musical educational programs. On october 2, 2003 for the first time in the world a premiere concert of symphonic masonic music was performed by the Philarmonic Orchestra from Targu Mures, Romania conducted by me.
