HummingBird Studios Inc, is an audio production company focused on the creation of original music for film/TV and the creation of CD album projects.
Alberta composer Carey Parder is the owner/operator. HummingBird’s experience composing and producing music spans a diversity of projects including feature length film, TV drama, documentaries, commercials, and album projects. To “sweeten the mix” Carey often works jointly on projects with fellow composer and singer/songwriter Chantal Vitalis.
As a performer Carey has played guitar many years in a variety of bands, duos and theatre ensembles. His most current published work is the sound track for A Few Good Men and Woman, Zima Junction Films, a 7 part documentary following a class of recruits through their training at Saskatchewan Police College. Aired on such networks as Saskatchewan Community Network, Knowledge network and Access – The Education Network. A Few Good Men & Women has been nominated for Best Documentary Series at the Golden Sheaf Awards of the Yorkton Short Film and Video Festival.
