Bodvar Drotninghaug Moe

Bodvar Drotninghaug Moe from Mo i Rana in Norway. Professor of music/composition at Nesna University College in Norway. He has received numerous scholarships and prizes, including The Northern Light Award (Nordlysprisen) and Rana Cultural Award. His compositions cover a vide variety of genres, including folksongs, pop, chamber music, orchestral works, opera, ballet, and music for film, stage and musicals. His work has been performed all over Europe, both on stage and on radio/television. Much of his work has been commissioned by various orchestras and ensembles. Numerous works, in different genres, are available at the Norwegian Archive of Music-information. Bodvar Drotninghaug Moe is a member of the Norwegian Association of Composers, NOPA and Nordland Group of Composers (Nordland Komponistgruppe).
