Scott Baeseman (b. 1968) was born in the small rural town of Edgar, Wisconsin. He currently lives in Highland Park, Illinois. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and Music Performance from Viterbo College in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Mr. Baeseman graduated with Honorary Distinction with a Masters Degree in Opera Performance from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Baeseman writes sacred choral music, organ music, and piano music. His works have been performed in Europe, Asia and the United States by the LaCrosse Boychoir, Inc., Music At Trinity Concert Series, Dr. Margaret Chen, Lake Forest Country Day School Choirs and several other reputable soloists and groups.
He is a member of the American Composers Forum, Chicago Composers Forum, American Choral Directors Association, Music Educators National Conference, and the American Recorder Teachers Association. He is currently a choral director/composer at Lake Forest Country Day School in Lake Forest, Illinois as well as the Artistic Director of the Music At Trinity concert series in Highland Park, Illinois.
