Ryan’s wide range of compositional styles has led him to compose for theater (New York City’s Astoria Performing Arts Center, Metropolitan Playhouse, Deconstructive Theatre Project, Emerging Artists Theatre, BoCoCa Arts Festival), dance (American National Ballet, Minnesota Ballet), and choral music for the concert hall (Young New Yorkers’ Chorus, American Radio Choir; NYC). Ryan lives in New York City and teaches at the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase. (B.M. Purchase College 2007; M.M. NYU expected 2010).
