While enrolled in UCLA Extension's Music Business course, I receiving two NARAS scholarships. These classes included record production with Nick Venet (producer of The Beach Boys, Creedence Clearwater and many others).
Between 1980 to 2005, I was a sound engineer working on many television shows, receiving 5 Emmy certificates for contributions in the best sound category (four for Cheers, plus one for The Arsenio Hall Show).
In 2006 The American Composers Forum awarded me a SUBITO grant to help defer the cost of my third studio CD, Nuclear Menace which was reviewed in the fall/2007 issue of Signal to Noise magazine.
G3 - a collection of improvisations "featuring some of LA's finest improvisers" - was released in 2011.
