Ellen's focus is inter-disciplinary improvisation and most things flute. She leads I.M.P. (Intuitive multi-disciplinary project) at Wichita State Univ., where she is a visiting assistant professor of theory/composition for the 2010-11 year. Musicians, dancers, actors, poets and artists come together to explore and work that amorphous connection between intellect and emotions. Back in Los Angeles (her home base) she leads the L.A.
