Rozanna has steadily forged new ground, attracting audiences where most violists have never gone, recently recording for the prestige Classical Label, Arabesque Recordings. Her latest with Mark O'Connor and Julian Lage, was described as 'smokin;' Recent activities include performance with Madeleine Peyroux at Carnegie Hall, followed by a special set at Barbes for Madeleine's release, an SOB"S appearance, world premiere for viola and chorus by Clare Shore at the Spoleto Piccolo Festival , appearance at the Rainbow Room, soloist at the Worldwide Plaza in New York, accompanied by the Indie band SEER, performances for Mayor Bloomberg and Tina Fey. In addition to recording the solo viola part by Christopher Mangum for the King Tut Exhibition, the artist gave a special performance alongside the exhibition at the Field Museum in Chicago. She has performed original music on the runway for Fashion Week and was a guest panelist at Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. Her music videos have been seen throughout North and South America on the Classic Arts Showcase, the TRIO Network, the Park City Film Music Festival, Rhode Island and Columbus International Film Festivals, where Chromatic Fantasy was a prize-winner. Rozanna’s recent focus on creating a unique line of musical instruments is inspired by her conviction that the 21st century will be one of limitless possibilities for string players.
