Other ensembles that have performed Trumbore’s instrumental compositions include the USC Thornton Symphony, the Boston New Music Initiative, the Neave Quartet, the Left Bank Concert Society, the Nova Ensemble, and the Eugene Contemporary Chamber Ensemble. Trumbore’s piece "Disbelief & Suspensions" was selected for performance as part of the International Alliance for Women in Music’s 2009 Annual Concert.
Trumbore’s choral compositions have been performed by the New York Virtuoso Singers, the Orange County Women’s Chorus, the University of Southern California Oriana Choir, the University of Maryland Chamber Singers, the Femmes de Chanson, the Harmonium Choral Society, and the Ward Melville High School Chorus. Trumbore is a native of Chatham, New Jersey, and was recently profiled in NJ Monthly Magazine’s feature “New Faces New Jersey.” Trumbore moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to pursue her master's degree in Music Composition at the University of Southern California, where she has studied composition with Morten Lauridsen and Donald Crockett. Trumbore graduated from the University of Maryland with a double degree: a B.M. in Music Composition and a B.A. in English Language and Literature. Her dual interest in text and music often leads her to write music for voice, collaborating frequently with contemporary poets.
