An award-winning composer and lyricist, Matthew composed for Film and TV for ten years before setting his sights on songwriting in Nashville and for musical theatre. His best known music is the soundtrack to the international hit TV show, WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE. His musical NEXT DOOR'S BABY premiered in London in 2008 and he is currently working on music and lyrics for two further stage shows.
Matthew's many credits include music for Tim Luscombe's play HUNGRY GHOSTS and Ben Brown's THE PROMISE (Orange Tree Theatre), Martin Amis's MONEY (BBC2), EXTRACT (Miramax Films), SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE (Fox Searchlight), QUESTION TIME (BBC1), A KIND OF HUSH (First Film Company), THE LODGER (Theatre Royal Windsor), THE GOOD WOMAN OF SETZUAN (Orange Tree Theatre), THE DETECTIVES (BBC1), IMAGINE (Liverpool Playhouse).
