Paul Stanhope is an award-winning composer based in Sydney, Australia. His works have been performed by major international groups such as the Tokyo Philharmonic, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Pavel Haas String Quartet and the Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge. He was awarded the Toru Takemitsu Prize in 2004 and was Musica Viva Australia's featured composer in 2010. Paul teaches part time at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and is also the Musical Director of Sydney Chamber Choir.
