Simon Smart

Simon Smart was born in Wales UK and moved to London at 18 to pursue a career as a recording engineer. He worked as a recording and mix engineer extensively in the UK, mainland Europe and USA with an emphasis on music-to-picture. He recorded music for multiple UK TV series and Bafta Award winning, Emmy Award winning and Oscar nominated soundtracks. A significant amount of his work was done at London’s Abbey Road Studios.

He has worked as a media composer since 1989 and has recorded albums for the major music libraries, including KPM, Music House and West One Music.

His music is heard thoughout the world every day.
