Christina Rusnak is a multifaceted composer whose work reflects a diversity of styles. Actively seeking to integrate artistic and geographic elements into her work, her goal is to compose music that engages the performers as well as the audience. Her pieces Cloudburst and Kyripo were selected for ERMMedia’s, Masterworks of the New Era series.
Completing her Master’s degree in Composition with a minor in Art History at the University of North Texas, Ms. Rusnak recently premiered her site specific piece, 161 Glass, commissioned by the Dallas Contemporary to commemorate their new space. Currently working with Orchestra 2001 in Philadelphia, she has studied composition with Cindy McTee, David Bithell, and Damien Keller.
