sraeli born Ronnie Reshef is a composer and performer of concert music, music for theatre, and films.
Ronnie’s works were played by groups such as the Mannes Circe Ensemble, Prototip, NY Syzygy Ensemble, and the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, throughout the US and Israel in venues such as Le Poisson Rouge, The Tank, Greenwich House, The Mann Auditorium, Israel International Festival.
Her theatre projects include collaborations with the Living Theatre, the Juilliard Theatre Department, and the Israeli Cameri Theatre, among others.
Her film scoring projects include films that received awards such as the Berlin Festival honor for a best debut work and Volgin Festival honor award.
Recent highlights include a staged performance of her chamber opera "Requiem for the Living", a run of her new original musical "Conspiracy!" in Midtown Theatre Festival (NY), and commissions from Prototip Trio and Synesthesia project.
A doctoral candidate at Manhattan School of Music's composition program, Ronnie is the winner of competitions and awards such as the Mannes Circe Competition, Alaria Competition for piano trio, and New York Composers Circle composers competition, as well as the Sam Spiegel Film School Excellence Prize for film scoring and the Shirimon Arrangement Prize.2
