After pursuing a career in IT, Lana retired in 2003 to return to school and finish her formal musical education. Graduating in 2006 from Seattle Pacific University with a triple major in Conducting, Composition, and Vocal Performance, she entered Western Washington University in the fall of 2006 to pursue studies in Music History & Literature. She currently writes choral music for several local ensembles in the Puget Sound area.
