Poppy Gonzalez is a songwriter, producer and performer. Mostly in the alt/indie rock areas. Poppy has contributed songs and performances to a variety of albums including Hush Collector, Sing-Sing, Dreamfield, Mojave 3, Beggars Banquet's Si Sen Si and live performances for many more. Poppy is credited for production on the critically acclaimed 2005 Hush Collector e.p. 'Flowby' and for Dutch artist Nancy Boyd's album, also providing guitar for live and TV performances and has worked with drummer John Hiseman and Right Said Fred's Rob Manzoli. Tours include 4AD's Shaving the Pavement 1996 USA tour, further European tours with Mojave 3, Sing-Sing, Dreamfield and Planet and a video appearance with blue grass wizzard Wild Willy Barrett among others. Poppy has her own paino teaching school based in Brighton. She is available for piano studio sessions gigs and preferably in the rock/alt and indie genres.
