Scott Brickman, born December 28, 1963, Oak Park, Illinois, USA, grew up in Chicago. He studied music at the University of Wisconsin (BM 1987) and Brandeis University (PhD 1996). He has been teaching at the University of Maine-Fort Kent since 1997, where he is Professor of Music and Education. His music has been performed throughout the United States as well as in Europe, the Middle East and South America. Compositions of his are recorded on the New Ariel, Capstone, SEAMUS and ERM labels.
