Felipe de Almeida Ribeiro is a Brazilian composer and doctoral student at the State University of New York at Buffalo studying under the supervision of Cort Lippe. Ribeiro obtained a M.Mus. degree at the University of Victoria (Canada) where he studied with Dániel Péter Biró and Gordon Mumma, and a B.Mus. degree at the Universidade Federal do Paraná (Brazil) as a student of Rodolfo Coelho de Souza and Maurício Dottori. Ribeiro’s music englobes both acoustic and electroacoustic forces and has been performed in several festivals in South America, North America and Europe.
