Timothy A. Helisek is the two-time award winner of the Normandale Composer's Competition for his classical chamber music. He wrote original music for the filmWho's Boo, which won the award for Best Children's Film in the International Christian Film Festival. He has written film scores for movies which have placed in the Third Screen Film Festival and the 48 Hour Film Festival. Timothy has worked alongside many prominent film composers including Garry Schyman, William Goldstein and Pete Myers.
In 2004, Timothy earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Guitar Performance from McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Music Degree in Commercial and Media Writing from California State University Northridge in 2008.
Timothy's relentless passion for music brought him to Los Angeles where he works as a musician. Since 2006, he has written music for over three dozen features, shorts and commercials combined.
