Roger May is an established composer and orchestrator in the fields of concert and media music. His compositions have been performed in Europe, Asia and America, and by the likes of the Orchestra of Opera North, the National Symphony Orchestra and the National Saxophone Choir. His music has been featured in Lesley Garrett's gala concerts and heard in major venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and South Bank Centre. On screen, Roger orchestrated on the soundtrack to the DreamWorks Animation film Bee Movie, and has worked on numerous projects for the BBC, including Robin Hood and The 7 Ages of Britain, as well as for Norwegian TV.

Roger studied Music at Bristol University and Composing for Film and TV at the London College of Music and Media, where he won the Wilfred Josephs prize for his orchestral epic, Bariolage. He has won further recognition and awards from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Brass Initiative, the West Forest Sinfonia, Aldworth Philharmonic, and National Saxophone Choir, gaining mentoring from James MacMillan (CBE) in the process.
