Born and educated in USA, came to Israel in 1976. Pioneered in creating contemporary music on biblical themes: Ha'azinu, Balaam and the Ass, Jacob and the Angel, Perek Shira, Yobel, etc. Won Liberson Prize 1990, Tokyo Festival Music for Children Contest, 1991. Works recorded on 13 CDs and performed worldwide.
