Composer and music theorist. Studied composition and music theory both in Japan and in the United States. His instractors includes Eric Sawyer, Kensaku Shimizu, Ichiro Nodaira, Jeremy Van Buskirk, Mikio Tojima and Paul Brust. He also studied Jazz piano with Peter Cassino and Jazz Theory with Bill Shoemaker. Living in Tokyo now, besides activities as a composer and theorist, he also works as a teacher and a music copyist.
